Favorite Finds: February Edit
We’re well into February in Sonoma County — and somehow this has actually meant rain! The vineyards have started to fill with mustard, and the green hills are filled with my favorite baby lambs. I feel like I’m finally hitting my groove into the New Year, and want to share some fun things.
Here are five things that have caught my eye as an interior designer lately:
1 | Number One
I originally came across this real estate listing on Dwell, but needed to check it out on Sotheby’s to get some more details. This $9M home seriously has the most ridiculously amazing views of the bay, and even better location in the cutest neighborhood. Key note: The wood paneling is sooo good. If someone wants to buy it, and hire me to help you furnish it — we could make it seriously special.
2 | Number Two
They say that the date most people abandon their New Year’s Resolutions is January 12th, or the second Friday in January. If cooking more at home was one of yours, here’s a super cute way to encourage you to pick it up again: These beautiful spoon rests by Boo Boo Clay are made to resemble raviolis!
3 | Number Three
While we were traveling in Japan over the holidays, I was constantly using Google Maps to try to find cool and interesting things to do, like art museums and restaurants to try. I recently came across this app called See Saw, and thought it was the coolest thing! It’s a map to show you local art galleries by location. Unfortunately it only has maps for a few major cities like New York and LA right now, but sadly nothing yet for San Francisco!) But it could be awesome if you’re planning a trip to Berlin or London!
4 | Number Four
Confession — I’m personally a bit of a minimalist, and tend to lean more towards neutral colors and patterns. But I can’t help but LOVE these cute DIY art frames by Honestly WTF. Super fun way to add a bit of pattern into a rainy February. Craft time!
5 | Number Five
Ok, so apparently I’m all about the color this month. Maybe it’s all the grey days that have me wanting to add a bit of punch. But these coupe glasses from Coming Soon New York are so perfect for the summer too! I love that they come with all the colors, so I don’t have to decide which I love best. I’m picturing a Negroni by the fire, or some amazing sparkling wine from Harvest Moon Winery in the Russian River when the sun starts to shine again.
That’s it for this month folks! See you next time!
