FAQ
-
Full service interior design is a turn-key service that takes the project from concept to completion. We take care of every detail—from sourcing items to working with tradespeople and even coordinating orders and deliveries. At the end, we install the new design so all you have to do is enjoy your new space.
-
As part of our design process, we will work with you to create an in depth budget for furniture, lighting, plumbing, etc based on your project’s scope of work.
While every project is different, based on our experience, we can give you an accurate estimate of what you will need to spend to achieve your desired outcome. For example, we often see furnishings budgets beginning at $25,000 for a living room, depending on the size of the space.
For construction projects, we will guide you through the construction bidding process. We’ll work with contractors to provide you with accurate estimates and walk you through the numbers in a way that’s easy to understand.
-
The timeline of our design process varies depending on the scope and size of your project. Following your initial consultation, we will provide a proposal outlining the projected scope of work and a rough estimate of the timeline.
Product lead times vary, but generally you can expect furniture to be about 8-12 weeks (for typical orders). Quick-ship items can sometimes be procured in 2-6 weeks, but options are very limited—you may find what is available in that time frame looks like what everyone else already has.
Most design projects require a minimum of 4 months and can take as long as 1-2 years depending on the size.
Please keep in mind that projects have a flow, and good work takes time.
-
Large-scale renovations can fluctuate widely in the scope of work and turnaround time. As a good rule of thumb, it’s best to onboard with us 6-12 months in advance of when you wish to begin construction.
There are a lot of design decisions to be made before your Contractor ever lifts a finger, and rushing the process doesn’t deliver the type of results we want for you.
-
Yes, we can help coordinate every aspect of your project. We liaise with contractors and architects, and make frequent site visits.
An interior designer’s focus is the form and function of a space. We partner with clients to achieve a desired aesthetic and design that enhances their lifestyle. We collaborate with other professionals like architects and contractors as needed, based on the scope and scale of the project. As the designer we select all of the finishes for the home (like tile, plumbing etc) and furniture. An architect’s expertise is in building and structure, so they’ll be on the project team for additions or new builds. A contractor builds from the design plans created by the architect and designer.
Collaboration is key, and our mission is to support you throughout the project. Your communication with us is vital so that we can relay questions and concerns to appropriate parties.
-
We prefer to have at least one full room to design to provide our best work, whether it’s a construction or furnishings project. In our experience, we have come to realize that it’s hard to provide our best designs with partial projects.
-
We would love to continue working with you to finish your spaces. We know how exciting it is to see your home come to life, and it’s very common for clients to realize their pre-existing furniture won’t align with the new furniture and design direction. We recommend letting us know as soon as possible so we can discuss your project details and prepare a detailed scope of work to outline phase two.
-
Absolutely! Our job is to create beautiful designs, taking into consideration the client’s perspective, lifestyle, and goals for the home. We love hearing about the way you live in your home. It’s a collaborative process, and nothing is more satisfying for us than creating a space that genuinely represents our clients lives and stories.
-
For Full Service Furnishings projects, our team will handle the ordering of all items required for the project and invoice you accordingly. We manage and track all deliveries, so you don't have to worry!

-
Each project presents its own unique goals and challenges, so we craft a project specific scope of work and proposal.

OUR PROCESS
A reliable luxury experience, every step of the way.
We understand that inviting a designer into your home is a big decision. Our signature five-part process is crafted to make sure you feel confident, well cared for, and expertly guided from start to finish—bringing ease and enjoyment to every step of your project.
-
We’ll meet at your home to understand your wants and needs and get to know each other better. We'll review our in-depth 5 part design process and answer any questions you have about working with us so you can feel confident about the next steps. After the consultation, you'll receive a detailed project proposal with an estimate for design fees.
All service offerings require an in-person consultation for a one-time fee of $300.
-
During our in-home kick-off meeting, we'll review inspiration and specific project needs, talk through preliminary design ideas, review your wish list, take detailed measurements, and answer any questions you have about what to expect throughout the process. We create a roadmap that covers everything from furniture layouts to investment planning, ensuring we’re aligned on every detail to bring your dream space to life.
-
First, we’ll prepare detailed design concepts for the look and feel of your space. This includes inspiration images, furniture layout options, and details for any work we suggest, like wallpaper, millwork, built-ins, paint, etc.
Once concepts are approved, we'll create a custom design plan for each room including 2D floor plans and/or elevations with images of products pulled together so you can see how the entire room will look. We will also provide product details, pricing, delivery options, swatches, and samples for your approval.
-
We will order and purchase products once we receive your written approval and payment for all design selections. Our team will coordinate all deliveries and communicate with vendors and trades to keep the project on task, all while keeping you in the loop via a weekly recap email.
For Construction, we will work with your chosen team to ensure the design intent is met, and to help coordinate construction through the completion of your project.
-
Sit back and relax as our team works tirelessly to implement your design, from delivery to installation. All items will be delivered in one day and all trades will be coordinated for install day. Post-install, we’ll provide any follow-up or next-step details before leaving you to enjoy your beautiful home.
