My Favorite Women Owned Design Stores in Sonoma County

In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8th, here’s a collection of some of my favorite women-owned businesses in Sonoma and Petaluma, that have a focus on interior design and home goods.

1 | Estuary

Based in Downtown Petaluma, this is a beautiful shop with home decor, clothing, and more. They focus a lot on independent and local makers. Owned and operated by April and Gabi Frederick.

2 | Cochineal

Cochineal by Erin Cuff is a cute little shop in Freestone, that specializes in unique fine jewelry, art, and home goods. Definitely a must see — and an extra perk is that Wild Flour breads is just next door.

3 | Pennyroyal Design

Hidden away in a small alleyway in downtown Petaluma, Pennyroyal has been a destination for ages. They have beautiful handmade bags, along with small home goods and fine jewelry.

4 | Dwelling House

Found just off Hwy 116, on the way to Sebastopol, Dwelling House is great for vintage and rustic finds. They often have beautiful art, and the best source for rustic benches and tables.

I hope this list of my favorite design stores helps when planning a trip to Sonoma!
